corporate citizenship

Modern corporations do more than provide jobs in communities. They also assist and enrich the lives of communities through philanthropic outreach programs. For more than 10 years, Hollister Kids has helped corporate clients strengthen ties with the community by creating award-winning educational materials for schools, students and families. Written to state and national education standards, these sponsored programs address both academic and social needs with lessons that connect with the industry, products, history and community goals of each sponsoring corporation. Sponsors have provided valuable educational resources on topics ranging from social responsibility to economic literacy to science and technology. Such programs demonstrate in a dynamic way that corporations can indeed do well by doing good in their communities.

Ford Motor Company Fund

For six years, Hollister has created educational materials for Ford Motor Company Fund's Hispanic Heritage Month program. Materials are distributed in more than 20 cities with large Hispanic populations. Themes range from art to literature to science. Each year's package contains a student newspaper supplement, a teacher guide and a classroom poster.

This piece was a winner in the 2007 American Graphic Design Awards. Other materials in the series have won two national Gold Medals from AEP.
